Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:A whole lot of Mystical (SPOILER FREE PREVIEW)

Has it really been six years since the last Doctor Strange movie? It doesn’t feel like that in fact it feels like it’s been a whole lot longer. There have been 10 movies in between the two Doctor Strange movies and so much lore and world-building has been put in between those two that makes me feel like it’s been a whole lifetime in between them. We have seen universes fall apart, we’ve seen the Mad Titan come and go, we’ve seen over five years in “real time” in the universe.

My previous title for my last review was “the Right Amount of Mystical” and I stand by that.By the time that movie came out we’d already seen gods, technology well beyond anything we can imagine in our world and more. Magic was an untouched part of the MCU to a certain extent and Doctor Strange was a great intro to that.

But like we just said we have 10 movies in between them and now they can go all out with this movie.

There are elements of Evil Dead, The Shining, time traveling movies and more that it can add onto thanks to the basis that we’ve already seen in the last 10 years

I’m not going to go into deep on this because I want you to be able to go see the movie without me spoiling anything.  I believe that this is one of the better movies in MCU for a variety of reasons not just its credit as a movie but as a piece that has been hinted at for years.

If you listen to our podcast I have said before I don’t watch trailers, it makes my movie watching experience so much better going in as blind as possible. I will admit I saw a minor spoiler on Twitter that did take away a little bit of the magic (PUN) of this movie but I can tell you even if you got half of the spoilers you’re still in for a world of amazing breakthroughs and foreshadowing for our future in our enjoyment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So please, go see the movie as soon as you can come back let me know what you think!
